Testing the Photbucket thingie... |

Just testing the Photobucket thingie....hope ya'll don't mind. I had a bit of trouble trying to use it with Internet Explorer 6. The whole thing just
went wacko. It allowed me to sign into my Photobucket account...and download the images. Then....the whole browser window just went wacko....
So I'm testing it with Firefox now... |

That worked in Firefox. That is a great add-in. Makes adding photos SO much easier....

I don't know if it's because I have over 1,000 images in my Photobucket account and downloading them might be affecting it in Internet Explorer, or
there's a bug. But whenever I try to add images while in IE 6, after a few seconds, the window goes wacko. Splits in three sections....overlaps....then I
lose my control bar at the top. When I right click and hit refresh, it's ok.....hmmm....

it may be the number of items since the photobucket folder structure isn't there - there should be folders that you can choose from to select your image.
So maybe it's just too much without the folders.

Yeah. Could be. I've got over 1,000 images there....so it could be a litttllleee too much right now.

I decided to get a Photobucket account too to try it out. Currently I use a different image every day for a "this day in history" and also one for a
"trivia" entry on my profile and sometimes on my Ezboard. Anyway, I have plenty of webspace, so I upload them to my space. But then I have to load
them to an html page so I can see them, then go to it and copy the url and then add them to the boards. Since I change them everyday, the Photobucket thing
works great! Because very few pictures are in it and it won't matter if I delete them as they are replaced the next day. Anyway what I am trying to say
with all that is, it is easy to use and thank ya very much :D.

Yep...it's easy to use the Photobucket thingie. Once they apply the new domain code to all domains, it will be easier to add images, smilies, etc. I had a few minor problems last night, but it was with Photobucket. Their site had problems....right in the middle of me uploading images. Then all my images at my boards here disappeared! Drove me batty! Hopefully that won't happen again. But I think it was a problem with Photobucket's servers... Anyway, I like the Photobucket add-in!! Thanks! |

I have two websites, and I don't know how your webhosting service works, but all I have to do is upload the graphics and type the URL in. I don't need
to upload them onto a webpage. Have you tried that?

Oh yup, ty GG I can do mine that way. It is just that I have so many images that I make pages out of them so they are easy to see. For most of my stuff that
works better as I keep my indexes turned off. My pages are basically just for me so I don't use any search tags except the kind that send robots away as I
don't like when I get hotlinkers. For a time I used an htaccess file to prevent that but it was always backfiring on me and making my ezboard look bad. I
have a really rude hotlinking smilie, lol....and a few times my whole board was plastered with it, hahahahh!
Even when I use one of your themes, I upload the images for the tdf, then I put them all on a page so I can look at them, lol. I must have a defect where I need to see everything! That is why I love that CSS edit toolbar with Firefox. Finally I can do something and see it at the sametime. I could always do it with a regular webpage in my html editor, but not with the boards. |

Sorry for spamming this thread with a huge image. I work for PB and I'm testing some of the integration just to make sure things are working properly.

OK, so I have my dunce cap on. Where is the photobucket "thingy"? I thought we uploaded our images only to the storage space YUKU provides or our own
webhosting space.

When you click on reply and are in this edit box, look up on the bar. After the mountain/sun icon and before the smilie icon you will see a little white square
icon with blue in it. That is for photobucket. When you click it, if you do not have an account it will lead you to where you can make one. If you do, then
your pics will appear. :D.
