I can easily give people design advice and very basic HTML and CSS but I am not fantastic with coding as I never really thought about it much.
I have been using Yuku for over 18 months so I know some of the tricks with general posting so I am happy to help out when I can. Great to see you Cedar. |

I just wanted to say how happy I am (we are... the group I belong to from msn) to have found Yuku! We've only been here a week, and we're lovin'
it! I've been pouring over various help boards, following suggested links... going back and practicing things... and I think I've died and gone to
heaven. And the greatest part of it has been looking through all these various help boards and seeing the personal touch of help and the kindness and friendly
tone that is nearly universal. I noticed 'Chris' posting earlier in this thread... I've been reading so many of her hints and tips, she's been
fantastic, clear, oh-so-easy-to-understand. I'd never even heard of Yuku previously to this last week, but I'm completely sold on it!
In our little group, I have kind of become the unofficial "answer seeker" but one day... ONE DAY!... I hope to repay all the kindnesses I've been taking advantage of, and be able to help others out the way so many have been helping me... even if they didn't realize they were! |

There are two Chris's at Yuku  . A male and a female . The one you see as "Chris" is the male. The female you will see usually as ChrisW or
Chris W962.

I just want to say thank you for everything in assisting we MSN users in the migration to Yuku. You are so kind to help us. And the skins I've seen by
some of you are wonderful so ty for allowing us to use those as well. I am continually back and forth in many "How Do I" sections and for the most
part things are easy to find OR I can ask and get a very helpful response. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas! ~Yowza~

First, I would like to say "I LOVE YUKU", and the help forums and personnel have been amazing and prompt.
I have been laid off (furloughed) since the middle of September and wondered what I would do to keep from going crazy until I was called back to work... and then MSN announced their groups closing, and so started the hunt for other group forums and the learning curve. I checked out quite a few and settled on Yuku, because it is truly a group forum format and not a "social networking" only forum, it has great features and the ability to style our skins and group to fit our needs is wonderful. I've been spending all my time refreshing my HTML knowledge and working with the editors you have, which are well laid out. I have created or set up sites for other MSN refugee groups, as well as, tweaking here and there for others. There are so many great tips I've found from the help forums here, and I read and try anything that catches my eye. I've even been converted to Mozilla as my main browser because it works so much faster and it is good to check what Mozilla users are seeing. Anyway, I just wanted to say if anyone would like to pick my brain or needs some help, just holler... I haven't gone back to work yet. Thank you to Yuku for existing!!

hey do hang around then! I know what it's like to have time on your hands - it was when I was 8 months pregnant and bored out of my mind!! Helping out at
what was then the ezboard cool tips and tricks forum kept me sane, and then I ended up with a job from it too. (Not suggesting I can promise that now though!)
We welcome any and all help, but most especially from those who know what they are doing with html. Welcome to yuku and to skins! |
