haha, nothing changed on the admin side, as for the code side, well I doubt it.
Maybe your fn key just got unstuck? You haven't been typing with cake icing on your hands have you? ;) I am surprised that I can see those, as often system characters don't translate from one system to another (I am on the mac). in the page title they appear as written, although in some of the html parts they are done as html entity codes with extra bits that my mac doesn't understand (question marks them) |

Jayne, is it possible that you might have done something or other with the num lock key?
Alt code - Wikipedia usaK, here's a list of Windows alt codes. If you'd like, all you have to do is bring up the web page and copy/paste the symbols into the Yuku post editor or into your document. If you do a Google search for HTML entities, you'll find that symbols exist beyond what Windows provides. There are more music notes and symbols, for instance (♪ â™® ♩ â™). I'm linking to a search because no list because none of them seem to be 100% complete. However, I do like this entity list at bigbaer.com. Again, you can copy/paste into the post editor or your document. If you're creating a web page, you should always use the HTML entity code (∴ or ∴ vs. ∴). You're more assured that the browser will render the character properly. Some editors will convert for you. EDIT: If you think a symbol for what you need might be out there, a search for something like "html entity music note" can be helpful.

The part that starts to get into detail is addressed to usaK (usaK, here's a...).
My question for you was if you thought your num lock key might be interfering when you've been having trouble with alt codes. I can't test because I'm on a Mac, but I happened to stumble upon it in the Wikipedia article. |
