sorry if you just got a shock, but I've just removed the wintry "icy" skin and put this new one up instead. I may do some tweaks if I see
anything I've missed, but do let me know if anything looks wrong to you (overlapping text, missing images, etc). If you look to the top left, you'll
see a collection of small buttons with an "a" on them. These will allow you to adjust the base font size of this board to one that suits you. The
left one will reduce the size, the right one will increase the size and the one in the middle will remove your adjustments and return you to the normal set
size. You can increase and decrease multiple times to get a comfortable viewing size. Your computer will remember this size on your subsequent visits if your
browser has cookies enabled (which it should do, if you're able to remain logged in to yuku!)

Oooh, got one, got one!
At the top left of threads with multiple pages, the kudos info overlays the prev / pages / next / jump buttons. For example, see: http://skins.yuku.com/topic/711 http://skins.yuku.com/topic/5998 http://skins.yuku.com/topic/5725 Do you need browser details and display settings? I've also noticed some s t r e t c h e d topics, but that seems to happen with most skins.

I'd quite like to fix the stretched topics issue too, so browser specs would help - not all of the topics you linked to are stretched for me (using Safari
at the moment) so I'd need to check them in other browsers.

Sorry Alison, those topics were posted as examples of the kudos / page overlaps, not stretched topics. (They were viewed via FF 3.0.10 on a monitor set at a resolution of 1024x768.) However, http://skins.yuku.com/topic/5998 was a side scroller on FF, but it's absolutely fine on SeaMonkey right now. (SeaMonkey 1.1.5, same resolution and yes, I do need to update). Most importantly (at least to me!) this skin is loading and displaying o-so-smoothly on dial up. Another big tick from me, that's for sure. 
ETA: now with added Yuku!

of course they are, I didn't read it properly!! Doh! Sorry. Because one of them DID stretch I thought that's why I'd opened them!
Glad it's faster for you - the previous skin had a larger header, so I guess that's the main thing. My skins in general don't use images for buttons, and they also use the same images for different icons, so that cuts down on loading. I hate massive banners and backgrounds that cause lag as well. |

hold down ctrl and F5 on your keyboard, or refresh the page. The kudos button should now appear (on topic pages, of course) above the search box and below the
rss and email buttons.

Click on that thumbnail - it will show you a larger screenshot. The green box is the old location of the kudos link/image, and it's now where the pink glow is. |

Aha! The kudos button is now in the new place. Looking good. Didn't have to do the crtl/F5 thing, but thanks for the tip Cedar. It'll come in handy.
m0zaic, what doesn't click? I just left kudos for another thread, so that's ok... (or at least it is when posting updsidedown.  )

m0zaic, it didn't click for FF when it was first in place, but Alison put a z-index on it - does it help if you do a hard refresh?

And if it doesn't click, what browser is doing it? It was a short period of time that it was there without the z-index, as I put it up there while I was
talking to cedar, and she tested it immediately and found it wasn't clicking. I was hoping that you had a cached version, but it's probably not the
case! And also - if it isn't clickable, what about the rss and email icons above it?
