These boards/sites offer free skins for yuku that may not be available in the yuku skin library.
yuku profile skins at ezdesign yuku community skins at ezdesign Style Sampler If you create skins for others to use, please add your board! (It must be public)

Just purchased a month's worth of gold. Revamping the skins a bit to make it more user-friendly for downloading. Still have a ton to convert over as well. Once that is done, I do hope to open a section with profile skins as well.

Hey Allison? Is nessuntocco from Bee Noticed still doing skins? I was over there today and some of her links and bkgrounds are broken.
I hope she's still around. I really enjoyed her skins....

We haven't seen ness in a while, she does beautiful designs. If her previews are no longer working, I can set them up on ezdesigns's preview board -
which I am rejigging the original ezdesign forum into.

Right now, I primarily make board skins.
I have a few profiles I've made in the past. You can also customize those that are available through Yuku. Mine were what I did by taking an existing skin and customizing it--Using the CSS only for the template. That's how most people with other than Yuku skins do it. Another thing you might want to do is to get web developer from Firefox and add it. If you run across the layout of a profile that you particularly like, you can open it up under tools, hit web developer---css---edit css---profile css. You can substitute your own colors and images right there (if you've already uploaded them here on Yuku or at Photobucket). You can add the color codes and URLs to your images and even play with the font. Once you have what you like, you can copy and paste it into the edit skins, add a new skin, put the css in the third box, save, and if you want a header image, you can go back in under images and add it there if you like.

Do you mind me asking what do you mean about Profiles are going to change drastically? I have made and offered several profile skins - is it for nothing? They aren't fancy, just simple for the most part, but is it not worth even making them? Thanks in advance for any info you have! Vicki |
