My groups set so people can see some of the group as a teaser to join...
but im finding people are having to apply for each forum..
is there a away i can change it so when they apply they join the group not the individual forums ?

When you add a person to the group - or more than one people to the group - ensure that you give them access to those forums too. Select them, then click edit
(in the clipboard box) and change their status for those forums from default to lead (or whichever you prefer)
