If you mean the font in the discussion area (after it is posted) you can add this:

.post-content { font-size: 1.3em; }

to the bottom of the Advanced CSS box in your skin list. Just change the 1.3em to an amount that looks good to you.

If you mean as you are typing in this actual editor, I don't know of a way to change that.

To give the mods and admins different colors you could use one of the scripts in the Script Library. Look in your Control panel under the Design box to find the link.
There are a couple of different scripts that might suit your needs. The Display Replace User Names is one and the Who's Online Member images is another. Let us know if you need help with that.

If you want to use the same skin for every forum but with just a different background the easiest thing to do is copy that skin in your list. Name the new one to something different (I generally use the forum name I want to apply it too). Then add the new background to that skin and apply it to the forum you like.
