Hiding or Eliminating the "QUOTE" link? |

I have someone on my board who constantly uses the "Quote" link rather than the "REPLY" link/button. It is actually quite annoying to have to constantly see people's posts over and over again for no real reason. I would like to know, therefore, if there is a way for me to hide/eliminate that "Quote" link so that they are forced to use the REPLY link/button. Thank you.

There is another option and that is to hide quotes in a particular user's posts. In that way, others could still use the quote function. You could even use
both to tidy the threads up.
.username blockquote { display: none; } e.g. .SciFiGuy blockquote { display: none; } |

Thank you Arizona and Extreamuser. I think I prefer the a.quote { display: none; } way so that it affects everyone equally and no one will become upset for being singled out. EDIT COMMENT: Hmm, that code's not working. I have put it in the Global HTML css box, and well as in the individual forums' skins' css boxes.

They were just the wrong way around. Use this:
li.quote { display: none; } or this would also work: .quote a { display: none; } |
