You could change the font with this:

#widgets_chatbox td { font-size: .9em; }

but the scroll will still be there. It is happening because of that link that is posted in it. You could make the sidebar and the chatbox as wide as that link but then it would really cut into your forum space. Or you could make the chatbox wider altogher and move it out of the sidebar into your header or footer. Currently the width is set to 180 px. So anything that is posted within that is larger than that will cause the scroll, see?

For your quickreply box, look for this in your css:

and change it to this:

font-size: 1.2em;
font-family: tahoma, Arial, sans-serif;

background: url(http://myweb.cableone.net/jpsjohn/multi025.gif);
color: white;
}

Just make that color: white; the color you prefer. .
