You can't hide the statusbar icon because basically that's what it's all about. Let me explain about the automatic login and any security concerns.

Any saved logins are saved using Firefox's built in password manager, they are not stored by the extension itself. This works exactly the same way as saving your username and password when entering details in any online form using Firefox. It only shows you logins for www.yuku.com. If you have one saved login Firefox will fill in the login form at www.yuku.com for you, if you have more then it will suggest as you type your email just as the extension will show you what logins you can use with it. You can manage what passwords Firefox stores by going to Tools > Options > Privacy > Passwords > Password Manager.

The extension may light up (indicating you are logged in) when you open a browser window even when set not to automatically log in. This is not a bug nor a security risk and the extension is not logging you in against your wishes. Yuku does not log you out of your account when you close your browser or turn your computer off. To log out of Yuku you must either delete your cookies each time you close the browser or explicitly click a log out link in the menu. The extension is only notifying you that you are still logged in - whenever you are logged into Yuku the extension will show as logged in too.

If you have logged out of Yuku for the day and the extension is set not to automatically log in, then it won't.

So Red, if you use a shared computer make sure you log out of your account when you are done just as you would without the extension. With the extension make sure it is set not to log in and not to save your login.
