I want my board to open as my home page...so ive insert the url into the home page doo dah...ive asked it to remember my password etc, but every time i click the home symbol..i have to keep logging in...its driving me nuts...ive never had to log into yuku when i was on MSN explorer or the time ive used IE...is there a way round this logging in stuff Last Edited By: Jayne12 2 Sep, 2009 07:15. Just to make sure you've got everything set correctly, you should have these options selected: Menu --> Tools --> Options --> Main Startup: When Firefox starts: Show my homepage. Home Page: (URL) [By the way, for some odd reason, typing in the URL didn't seem to want to work, so I selected the URL from my bookmarks (that is, I had a bookmark on the bookmarks bar for my board). So, I pressed the [Use Bookmark] button, opened the "Bookmarks" toolbar (there's Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu and Unsorted Bookmarks), and then selected the bookmark for my board.] Under the Security tab, be sure to put an "x" in the box next to: __ Remember passwords for sites. If you've done all that and it's not working, I don't know why. It should. It's working for me. Maybe someone else has some ideas?

Posts: 1095 2 Sep, 2009 10:51	http://thefriendshipinn.yuku.com/directory ive pasted it and also done the book mark thing too...and each time i have to log in...but...i only have to put my yuku name in and then the password comes up automatically, so it is remembering that...but its a PITA to keep doing this...ive never had to log in before...IE works perfectly and it opens straight away...ive also tried using...Use current page...still have to log in Then when i have logged in i get this at the top of the main page and ive never had that before either Last Edited By: Jayne12 2 Sep, 2009 11:04. If that's the case then you effectively log out when the browser closes, so you need to log in again before you can access your private board. If you had the Yuku Firefox extension you could set that to log you in automatically, but it doesn't work with the newest versions of Firefox (3.5 and above).

Posts: 492 3 Sep, 2009 00:51	When you first type in a user name and password for some site, a bar appears at the top of the page asking you if you want for FF to remember that password just for the "session", "always" for that site, or "never". I would be willing to bet you selected "never" (perhaps accidentally). I'm not sure how to let FF know that you've "changed your mind".

Posts: 494 3 Sep, 2009 01:16	Actually, we are discussing two different types of situations here: 1) "Remember password": This is when you go to a site and have to login. Your password will show up automatically if you've selected this option. 2) Staying logged in: I can close my browser, log off my computer, turn off the Internet, come back the next day, open the FF browser, and still be logged into Yuku. It seems that Jayne is not staying logged in.

Posts: 1102 3 Sep, 2009 06:53	HI No, i selected for it to remember...but will remove yuku from any list i can find...lol...and try again Edit.. ive just looked and its in the Remember password box...still had to log in this morning ............i could cry edit... 1hour later....ive been to FF help section and i am not the only one, there are 1000,s of ?'s the same as mine...they give the solution and the solution isnt working...and most are saying they are gonna dump FF becasue of this problem...looks like i will have to as well, i am having to login to every site i am on..hotmail, facebook, aimoo, yuku, every single site, But IE i just click and am in..but i hate IE....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Last Edited By: Jayne12 3 Sep, 2009 08:28. Posts: 497 4 Sep, 2009 04:09	An idea: Since it's a glitch -- but not in everyone's (for instance, not in mine) -- perhaps you can try installing Firefox again. But don't reinstall the one that is in your Downloads folder as that one apparently has a glitch. Uninstall Firefox. Then delete the one that is in your Downloads folder. Then download a brand new copy using IE, and reinstall Firefox from scratch.
