When I go into the forum settings area, I seem to be missing the button (I presume there should be a button) to save the changes.
For example, see this page. After I check or uncheck the boxes I want, how do I save the changes?!

Hi Scifi. On the Forums setting once you have checked or unchecked a box it auto saves it. The only time one has to save anything in that area is when one
moves a category - then you will see a button on the bottom left that says "Update"
Moving forums by dragging and dropping- or changing anything in forum settings by checking boxes is auto. |

Oh, I see. Thank you. Perhaps there should be a message somewhere in there informing people of that because we are not used to that so we don't know that. Ordinarily we are used to having to press a "save" button before changes take effect. |

It does give us a highlighted text as it's saving, saying "saving changes" or "saving data" at the top of the board.
You probably missed seeing that because after you checked a box you were scrolling to the bottom to find the save button. There are quite a few bits that are different but it honestly doesn't take long to get used to them. |
