the little icons that say "new" and "unread" or whatever.. i have absolutely NO clue how to change them and i've been looking around
for HOURS! help!?

When you are at your board, click on Admin, then Design, Customized Skins. Choose the skin that displays as the active
default. Look under images. Here you can add urls for the legend images you wish to use. I hope this helps.

Hi. I needed help with this too. I want a Strawberry to show for my unread sections. I followed your directions. Once I added the URL I hit save, I see the
Strawberry on my icon page but I can't get it to show on the board. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you for helping.

When you make a change to a skin, you have to make sure that the skin is applied to the forum. If the skin was already applied and you made a change, then you
may need to refresh your cache in order to see the change. If F5 doesn't work, try control + F5
