At our board we have a common CSS skin where our backgrounds are placed. The code was working great, and still is within certain forums. However, when we started updating the HTML in the forums we noticed that the post backgrounds started disappearing, the search bar went back to the top of the forums, the names of the forums appeared again at the top of the Topic Titles and below the Whos On Line box. There were other various things that we had the coding there for too. Almost all of the coding from the CSS skin has now been placed in the Global CSS and it is working again.
I did not want to place the post background codes in the Global CSS though because it overrides the coding for the alternating color for the post background for the rest of the members. After trying various things I finally did place the post background coding in the Global CSS but even that did not work.
Even if we do not change anything in the skin but just hit edit and save the skin loses it's ability to read the coding for the post backgrounds. Please help, it is driving me crazy and I am scared to update any other forums now.

One of Yuku's members made it for me. Until then it was simply holding the ctrl key. Now it's got ctrl issues.
