The reason is I am compiling a list of the top 20 confusing things that need FAQs. Please add to my list (although I won't write a FAQ for any feature that I know will be updated.) 1. how to search a domain 2. how to create a new domain 3. how to create and manage forums 4. how to manage skins for domains/profiles 5. how to manage your members * 6. how to manage ranks and titles * 7. how to find domains or friends 8. how post using the wysiwyg editor 9. how to edit your profile layout and blocks, and what others see 10. how to...?

Posts: 388 29 Aug, 2006 08:22	True. I have a lot of questions from members on the little things....such as "Where is the quote button!" (LOL!) It's way different than at EZ.... The whole advanced editor needs a thorough explaining....as the controls are different from EZ. That's why I voted for the FAQ for message boards. It's a good thing for administrators to fix up for members and members can search it within the board itself for help....

Posts: 127 29 Aug, 2006 10:13	#8 should be pretty extensive, because that editor is so different from what we're used to at ez. Screen shots would be helpful to illustrate what you're talking about. I used them extensively in the "Yukuology" section of my ezboard.

I just liked the idea of eventually having a FAQ for one's domain. Makes it easier for the members there...

The fact that safari and firefox decided to integrate rss readers into their browsers just makes them even better browsers as they can multitask. Saying that they don't work in IE is slightly misleading, as people who use IE may then assume that they also cannot use rss.

Posts: 266 30 Aug, 2006 10:18	Hmm... well I'm only saying that they don't work in IE because I was led to believe that in the rss discusssion. What I took from that discussion was that I couldn't use them if I used IE.... so call me misled. The rss icon shows up in the address bar in Firefox but not in IE. I was told to click on that icon and a box would pop up to set up the RSS feed, but since there is no icon in IE it wouldn't bring up the box, hence it would not 'work' in IE. I know nothing more about rss than what I read in that discussion, and it sure sounded like it didn't 'work' in IE, and nobody bothered to tell me otherwise there. That would have avoided a lot of the misconception I've had over rss since then. OK, found the thread http://skins.yuku.com/forum/viewtopic/id/826 btw.... your white/light blue skin has no border around the place to type for the search function so I had a heck of a time trying to figure out how to search this forum Last Edited By: janmew 30 Aug, 2006 10:49. The password is ezdesign, and anyone and everyone is welcome to edit and make changes and additions. If an idea is part of another one, just put a - in front of it beneath the parent item (like using photobucket, which is beneath using the editor)
