Thanks, I figured it out, I just copied and pasted some code from another forum that had the transparent spaces between the columns and rows, it isn't the same piece of code that is used to get these areas transparent, but I don't know ! Whatever I did it fixed it, the forum is now completely redesigned.

Hi Emma .

Look for this in your CSS:

#wrapper {
width: 95%;
border: NONE;
font-size: 1em;
margin: 10px auto;
background: NONE;
}

See where the wrapper width is 95%? That is what causes your forum to be fluid and stretch out on a larger screen. If you put in a static width then it will be the same (except the background) on the other screens.
So just change it to...

Well, there was one other thing. I have two laptops, both have different sized screens, the banners were designed on my computer with the smaller screen resolution, so when you view the forum with a bigger screen the forum columns and info stretch out but on each page the main banner of course, stays the same width.

I would like to make all content on every page fit or stay in the margin of the banner width / size, sounds confusing but I hope you know what I mean, I want the...

Wow, this worked straight away ! It is mostly always the case that the problem is so simple yet the solution can be hard to find if you are new to CSS. Thank you so much for your help, it is truly appreciated. I need to get better with the CSS stuff, the moveover from Ezboard to Yuku has not been easy on my board as I had a lot of javascript in banners, glowing text etc so I've set about a total redesign.

You have a general boxbody declaration that makes the background white. Hence the table sitting within that showed white. In addition, the background color of the td was not defined.

Easily fixed by adding the following two lines to the end of your Advanced CSS.

.category-box .boxbody { background: transparent; }

.category-box .boxbody table td { background: #fff; }
